Terms of use
Last updated August 12, 2026
These terms cover your use of usecode.sh, the code page at usecode.sh/yourname, and the dashboard behind it. Using the service means you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.
1. Who this is for
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account. One account per person. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind that company.
2. Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address. That link is the key to your account, so keep control of the inbox it goes to. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Tell us at hello@usecode.sh if you think someone else has access, and we will cut off the active sessions.
3. Your handle
Your handle is the address people say out loud, so we hold the top level of the site for creators. Only creator handles, system routes, and pages we build on purpose live there. No campaign names, no product slugs, no auctions. Everything else nests under you, like usecode.sh/yourname/brandname.
You keep your handle for as long as your account is open. We can reclaim one in a narrow set of cases:
- It impersonates a person, a brand, or an organization you have no connection to.
- It was registered to resell, to block someone else, or in bulk.
- It is on the reserved list because it is a brand name, a system route, or a term we will not host.
- A court order, a valid trademark claim, or applicable law requires it.
We will email you first in every case except the ones where the law does not leave us that option.
4. Your codes, your links, your content
Everything you add stays yours: the codes, the destination links, the text, the images, and the content URLs you attach. You give us permission to display them on your public page, in the automatically generated share image for that page, and in the interstitial for links that need one. That permission ends when you delete the item or the account.
By adding a code or a link you are confirming that:
- You are allowed to share it, and it is a real, current offer from the brand or program it names.
- It does not violate the rules of the affiliate program or brand it came from.
- It does not point anywhere illegal, deceptive, or harmful, and it does not carry claims a product cannot support.
Fitness and supplement offers get one extra line, because it is our launch category: do not use the service to make claims that a product treats, cures, or prevents a disease. Those claims are unlawful in most of the markets your viewers are in, and they are not negotiable here.
5. What we do not do to your links
We do not rewrite your destination URLs, strip your tracking parameters, swap your affiliate identifiers, or insert our own. A link you add yourself is recorded as a bring-your-own link, and a bring-your-own link can never carry a commission to us. That is enforced in the database, not just here, and there is no plan or setting that changes it.
6. What it costs
The page, the cards, the links you bring, and the analytics on them are free, with no card required. We intend to keep them free.
Separately, we are building a network layer: affiliate programs we hold a relationship with, that a creator can add to their page in one tap. It is not live. When it launches it will be opt in for each individual card, it will state the revenue share before you add anything, and it will not change the terms on links you brought yourself. If we ever need to charge for something that is free today, we will tell you before it happens and you will be able to export and leave.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use usecode.sh to:
- Impersonate another creator, brand, or person.
- Post codes you scraped, guessed, or took from someone else’s page.
- Generate fake views, clicks, or copies, whether by script, incentive, or traffic purchase.
- Route traffic through the service in a way that breaks an affiliate program’s terms, including cloaking where the program forbids it.
- Publish anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or aimed at children.
- Attack, scrape, or overload the service, or work around its rate limits.
8. Disclosure is your responsibility
Every public page carries a disclosure line automatically. That line covers the page. It does not cover your videos, captions, stories, or comments, and it is not a substitute for disclosing a paid relationship where you actually made the recommendation. See the disclosure guide for what that means in practice.
9. Suspension and ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deleting it takes the public page down and removes your cards, content links, and event history with it. That is not reversible, and we do not keep a shadow copy.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks section 7, that we are legally required to close, or that puts the service or its other users at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
10. Availability
We work hard on uptime, especially on the public page and the redirects, because a dead link during a video’s first hour costs you real money. We still cannot promise the service is never interrupted, and we do not guarantee any level of traffic, earnings, or performance.
11. No warranty
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, usecode.sh is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and both sides consent to jurisdiction there.
Before filing anything, email us at hello@usecode.sh. Most problems are a misunderstanding about what the product does, and those are faster to fix in a reply than in a filing.
14. Changes to these terms
We will post the updated version here with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects what you earn or what we take, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
